It means annoying. Ouch. But now that we’re living here and trying to make friends, accurate communication is more important. Indy 500: 1909 (The year of the first automobile race on the Indianapolis track. It was 5 miles, not 500.). Fiat 500: 9-9 long, 4’-3 tall, 4’-3 wide. 1100 pounds. Indy Car: 16’-0 long, really short, 6’-6 wide. 1525 pounds. Indy 500: 3500cc 650hp. (And really horrible gas mileage.). Fiat 500: 35 to 43mph, depending on who you ask and how much the passengers weigh. Indy 500: A lot less.
