February 4, 2011. 一位癌症病人, 本以为拿了home leave，在大年除夕可以回家与家人欢欢喜喜地吃顿团圆饭. 可是, 他的家人始终没有出现, 甚至连电话都避而不接. 我很困惑, 也很气愤, 很想当面问问他的家人: 只是一顿饭而已, 并不是要你照顾他一生一世(即使那本来就是你的责任), 甚至连一个晚上也谈不上(因为饭后病人还是会回到医院的), 为什么就不能满足一下一个即将面对死亡的人的一个小小的心愿呢? 春节期间, 医院里工作的人不多. 昨天, 大年初一, 整个楼层里就我一个华人在工作. 反正总得有人工作吧, 可大家也太看得起我了. 无论是需要广东话, 福建话, 海南话, 客家话什么的都跑来叫我去翻译. 于是, 在新年的第一天, 满场都可以听到我那破脚的方言和傻笑了. 呵呵…不好意思, 是我学艺不精. 今天认识了一英国人, 他跟我说, 广州是一个”full of funny sculptures”的城市. 奇怪了, 是我太久没有回广州了吗?
