Jenny Abbott is a singer/songwriter/guitar player that hales from Wisconsin. Tim started playing bongos at age six and by the age of seven, he was sitting in with some local jazz greats at his father's bar/nightclub on Milwaukee's east side on Sunday nights. His parents bought him a drum set at the age of 12 and less than a year later, he joined a group that actually played for money, opening for Milwaukee's then famous Tony's Tygers and The Skunks. One of Tim's favorite quotes is by Friedrich Nietzsche: Without music, life would be a mistake.

We can because we can. June 28, 2015. Strawberries fell upon us this weekend. Later than usual with the cool spring. I had the kids here to help me, so we busted out the jam. Maybe it gets easier with time, but it was much more painless than I remembered. I bought two flats of strawberries (8 quarts each). This made 4 batches of jam and a strawberry pie. I ended up with 26 jars of jam canned. Two quarts were used for pie. Not counting the sugar and the lemon juice, the cost/jar was $1.88. Was it worth it:.
