Friday, October 24, 2014. Last week we went on a big family vacation and toured parts of Slovenia and Italy. The odds were stacked against us from the beginning though. I sprained my ankle a couple of weeks ago and it still hadn't healed in time for the vacation. Fox got sick just before leaving and while driving out of the neighborhood our GPS crashed. Sheesh! Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Fox has been asking for a year now when he was going to lose a tooth and when it finally happened, he lost two! Way to go Fox! The best part was that he lost one at school and got a little trinket box to keep it in. Best. day. ever. Monday, March 16, 2015. We also enjoyed the vantage from the Acropolis and a neighboring hill. And exploring the ancient Roman and Ancient Agoras. If I had to name the highlight of the trip, it was definitely hiking up the tall hills around Athens....

Friday, January 24, 2014. Ringing in the New Year. It seems as though we've got a little catching up to do! In December, I was part of the International Women's Club Christmas Bazaar to raise money for local charities. For the American table we raffled off themed baskets. Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Last year, we gave Fox a drumset for his birthday and Eden and guitar for hers. Fox has been taking lessons with a great teacher here, Vlada, and Andrew has been teaching Eden guitar. They had their public debut - there's still some conflict over the name of their band - at the school talent show, playing "Wild Thing," with Eden's friend Natalia singing.
