Maranui Swimming Club Inc (1964). We provide Swimming Tuition and Coaching in a non-competitive and fun environment for children between the ages of four and eighteen. The philosophy of the Club is two-fold and simple. To provide members with the highest level of tuition and coaching in all aspects of learning and development of swimming techniques. To make the experience as enjoyable as possible so that our young swimmers look forward to Club nights. This gives rise to an overall objective of -.
Membership - Maranui Swimming Club

Members are placed in groups according to age, ability and personal comfort. The young Learn to Swim group relates to ages four to seven years. The main membership of the Club comprises seven to eighteen year old members of differing abilities. Generally, the Club does not have members above 18 years of age although an existing member may stay on until 19 or 20 years of age. As part of the annual subscription, a swimmer becomes a member of Swim Wellington. And Swimming New Zealand. 85 for one swimmer.

Club Nights - Maranui Swimming Club

Club nights are from 7.00pm to 8.00pm every Friday with the exception of Good Friday and school holidays. A programme is produced at the start of each year which highlights both the activities for the year and dates when the Club does not swim. See the announcement. For the 2016 schedule or our shared calendar. The Club does have a Learn-to-Swim class focused on four to seven year olds; although numbers are generally small which is attributed to the 7.00pm start of the Club night. Bring a friend night.
