Wednesday, 26 August 2009. Good day to you, went to Cresswel pond hide yesterday, evidently a solitary sandpiper kicking about not that I saw it. Pulled up at about 11.30am. lots of cars, knew something was up. However got my gear together and set off for the hide, first guy I bumped into was not a happy chappy , I said alright as I approached him but he just said you cant see anything for bloody photographers and marched past me looking angrily at my camera. Friday, 21 August 2009. Reached far pastures this morning only the Mute swan to photograph, light not to good.Moved quickly on to Thornley woods, took pics of Robin and Great tit.
