And I was smiling and feeling happy that he was doing so well potty training, and I said "Evan You are So Smart" and he answered with a quirky smile as if to say are you crazy "For pooping? Evan and Milo Marbit. Wednesday, March 16, 2005. More about the toilet! Evan is on day 2 of going through the night wearing underpants - no issues so far! Also, he peed standing up for the first time yesterday, so exciting - watched Steve and then decided that he wanted to also. He has only had 1 accident in almost 2 weeks - and it was at school - we think he was embarassed to ask his teacher to take him inside to poop. He likes just going on his own. Evan and Milo Marbit. Wednesday, March 09, 2005. So since Evan was little, our friend Matt has been telling him that our friend Jokeman has a poopy diaper. Today, Evan was showing Matt and Jokeman his new underpants and Matt said "So who is the only one with a poopy diaper now" - Evan said "Jokeman is," then he paused and said "Well actually, Jokeman has poopy underpants now". Evan and Milo Marbit. Friday, March 18, 2005. One day Evan started saying "Let's Switch to Switch" - what this means is let's switch what were are doing and share with someone else. It works for the mouse on the computer, sharing cereal, lots of stuff. The best is that Evan will almost always switch to switch but is much less enthusiastic about sharing :-). Today we were at a fancy market where they squeeze their own juice out of oranges, and disgards the peels below it - he shouted "Look Mommy, the machine is pooping", It was my first experience of his saying something loud and embarrassing in public - luckily I thought it was funny. Evan and Milo Marbit. Monday, April 04, 2005. Whenever Evan visits I am struck by how much he remembers from previous times. Recently, he ordered the same exact breakfast-scrambled eggs with cheese (with some extra cheese in a bowl please to eat straight), then found the little stool he steps on to watch and help.then found the same assorted items to activate (talking magnets, flashing light displays).things I forget about but he never does!
