On the role of John Sevier during the War of 1812 and the twilight of his career. Please join us this Saturday, September 23rd. As we remember the first governor of Tennessee and Revolutionary War hero. In a letter to Tennessee governor Willie Blount, which was published in the Knoxville Gazette. 1812, Sevier writes that Congress has finally approved the war bill.
