Saturday, August 15, 2009. Another Day, another doctor? For the second time this week, Drew had a visit with the PA at the urgent care in town. Earlier in the week Trey took him for an ear infection, but last night was a little more urgent of a visit. He was of course very upset. Trey drove us to the urgent care while I held a rag on his chin. Luckily, the neighbors offered to watch Garrett. He was so tired after a big week, so scared, and so immobilized. We both cried. Thursday, August 13, 2009. Ready or not Kindergarten- Here he comes! I always knew this day would come, but I never knew how fast it would arrive. Drew started kindergarten this morning. He woke up this morning to the alarm at 6:45 and sleepily came out and announced that "Oh no, now I can't get my beauty sleep." What a character! He then dressed and ate. (Be aware that I was up at 6:15, as you can tell in the picture- I can't remember the last time I got up that early! Posted by Kelli Marchbanks.

Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Our sweet Garrett turned two last week! I can't believe how quickly he is growing. He topped the scales at nearly 32 1/2 lbs. this week at his check-up. He is such a sweetie- as long as nothing comes between him and his food. Cookies and ice cream are some of his favorites! He loves to eat, giggle, play with his best pal Briley, torture his brother some, and throw and smear his food everywhere! He has started warming up to others, but his heart still belongs to mommy!

Saturday, April 04, 2009. Our Drew turned 5 this Thursday with lots of excitement! He spent the day at school with his little buddies celebrating with cupcakes. Then for dinner he chose Chuck E. Cheese, so we spent the evening playing games and eating pizza. He opened gifts and had lots of fun with with the family, including the Marchbanks grandparents and Nana. It was sooo much fun!
