Ever since we have moved up to Oakley the 4th of July has become one of our favorite holidays! The night before the 4th we had our friends Scott and Jenny and their kids come stay with us. It was a lot of fun! We had a BBQ, lit some fireworks, and then watched the Rodeo's firework show from our backyard. Aaliyah started out not liking them so much! The 4th of July Parade. In Oakley every year they have the tradition of sleigh riding down Christmas Street and seeing Santa Clause. Every Tuesday the moms take turns teaching the kids at their house. We have 7 kids altogether, 5 girls and 2 boys between the age of 3 and 4. It has worked out really well and I am so thankful for my friend thinking of such a great idea and setting it all up for us! Saturday, January 24, 2009. A Beautiful Day For Hiking.
