Thursday, April 8, 2010. Deanna Rose Opening Day. Due to a last minute change in plans, we were able to enjoy one of our favorite activities - Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead - on opening day. It is a real local treasure. I had so much fun watching Sal re-explore it as an older and wiser little guy. Too fun! Thanks to Bethany for the invite! Jolly and Sal looking for ducks after lunch. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Despite the blizzard, we were still able to make it to Church on Christmas Eve and to Mary's house to celebrate with our family. Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Over the past month or so, Salvador has developed a love of trains. He loves to say " choo. Whenever he sees or hears one and he knows all the places to look for them on the road between here and Grandma's house. We thought he might enjoy A Day with Thomas the Train so we took a family trip to Baldwin for a really nice morning out! Daddy and Sal pose with Thomas the Train. Wow, that's loud! Thursday, April 8, 2010. Aunt Deanna brought cousin George up for a weekend visit so the boys could just "be boys" - it was all Sal could talk about - Cousin George, Cousin George! It was hard to get many pictures as the boys kept us pretty busy but here are a few! They packed in the fun from Little Monkey Bizness. Fritz's and the train exhibit at the Great Mall - a great time was had by all! Mommy and Sal at Fritz's in Shawnee. With the Piano Men - our home was filled with wonderful music by the boys!

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Let's Go Royals, Let's Go. We took Sal to the Royals Game this past weekend. We had a lot of fun even though the Royal's didn't win. Thursday, April 8, 2010. We had family for brunch and celebrated with noon Mass. He is Risen! The Easter Rabbit as he calls him brought Sal a new Handy Manny toolbox - he was thrilled! Sal and George provided entertainment for the morning - note all the cars parked between the keys! Sal loves to take Flicker into the bathroom and shut the door! Friday, August 14, 2009. A new Cousin for Sal. We made a trip to Richland. Missouri (near Ft. Leonard Wood) to meet Sal's new cousin Vivian Lynn. Sal loved seeing cousin George and playing with all of his cool toys! Sal thinks Baby Vivian is great - he makes crying sounds when you ask him about babies.Aunt Mary taught him that! We found a way to photograph George and Sal together - the learning tower or the bathtub! With Vivian - we cannot remember Sal being so small! It goes by too fast! The Rest of July.
