Labeling a quilt with the artist's name, date, and the name of the quilt, are an essential part of quilting. All too often, we have quilts from the 1700 and 1800s whom we have no idea who made the quilt or where it was made. This is a loss to our quilting history! Most labels would cost approximately $5 to $10 per label, depending on the density of design, number of color changes, and lettering.
