Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Today is my birthday! I have to say that I really don't feel my age and I'm truly thankful to God for that! For you history buffs here's some interesting facts for December 28th:. William of Orange makes a triumphant march into London as James II flees. George I of England gets divorced. Iowa is admitted as the 29th State of the Union. A US Army force defeats a group of Apache warriors at Salt River Canyon, Arizona Territory, with 57 Indians killed but only one soldier.

Friday, March 30, 2012. It's been three day since my best friend and assistant left to take a new job. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Please say a prayer for our state today. We had some devastating storms come through yesterday and the loss of life is huge. As of right now, there are 162 confirmed deaths and I expect that number to continue to rise throughout the day. Millions are with out power. People have lost everything. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. We did enjoy a fun night with good friends for New Year's Eve. We had a big bonfire and shot fireworks until about 10:00. We ended it early so we could all get home and be ready to attend church on Sunday. However, my New Year's Day was spent visiting my dad in the hospital. It wasn't the way we would have liked to spend it but we knew that he was in the right place. Here's hoping and praying that the year isn't filled with hospital stays! Praying your dad gets better quickly!
