Monday, December 15, 2008. O blog chega ao fim. Foram 3 meses e 3 semanas! A temporada aqui na China foi ótima. Aprendi muita coisa, não só sobre acupuntura e cultura chinesa, mas também sobre a vida. Passar esse tempo em um lugar tão diferente e conviver com pessoas de diferentes países me fez crescer e perceber como o mundo é pequeno. Somos mesmo todos um. A saudade aperta, mas há sempre o consolo do reencontro. Muito obrigada por todas as visitas! Não vamos mais ter noticias? E quem não mora em NY?

Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Guilin, 06 de dezembro. Partimos cedo pra Guilin, no sudoeste da China. Arranjei um tour de 4 dias pela internet. Nosso guia Lu (cujo nome inglês escolhido por ele mesmo eh Oscar? Fizemos check in no hotel e já partimos pra Montanha da Longevidade. Uma pirambeira enorme no meio da cidade e tínhamos que subir não-sei-quantos degraus. Reza a lenda que quem chega ao topo da montanha vive até os 130 anos. Foi difícil, mas conseguimos. Thursday, December 4, 2008. Pequim - 04 de dezembro. Fomos cedo às 798 Art District que é uma ruela cheia de galerias. Foi fundado em 2000 e fica perto da Academia Central de Belas Artes. Como não tínhamos pesquisado qual galeria queríamos ir, entramos onde o taxista nos deixou. Era a UCCA (Ullens Center for Contemporary Art) e estava tendo uma exposição de Dior. Super legal. What's on my mind. It's called a budget. Sometimes something annoys me and I can't stop thinking about it. I have to tell someone about it. That's part of why I started this blog (btw, I'm not dead! My thought: We gave her a budget, she should know if there are funds left to do this. If it is indeed something the school decided to do recently and she's asking for additional money to cover prizes (as it appeared in her email) then she needs to recognize that there might not be. Well, I feel better now.
