Too Old to be Riding Bikes, But Who Cares: May 2007
http://dr-nitro.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Too Old to be Riding Bikes, But Who Cares. Wednesday, May 30, 2007. No actual tears today (have seen them before with this video), but some serious long faces when I dived into the discussion topics after it was over. What was the tear-jerker? The Man Who Knew, a Frontline documentary on FBI agent John O'Neil, who had nearly connected all the dots of the 9/11 plot. Good documentary, but the very definitinition of irony in the end, and incredibly sad irony at that. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Unfortunately, th...

goldfishbike: talent
http://goldfishbike.blogspot.com/2009/03/talent.html
A journey back to health. Friday, March 13, 2009. We all have something we're good at. Sometimes it looks efforless. You've got to appreciate his fluidity. Especially in the transitions at about 1:20 minutes. Fit on the new bike thanks to helen's. The new shimano dura-ace is spot on all around. They really did make a good thing better. The trek madone feels like a knife through butter. Is it the carbon lay up? Got to get the perspective straight and get back in the game. It's all in the head.

goldfishbike: San Marcos Circuit Race
http://goldfishbike.blogspot.com/2009/07/san-marcos-circuit-race.html
A journey back to health. Monday, July 27, 2009. San Marcos Circuit Race. Mates Brian and Brian got 10th and 11th. Tony did some blocking during the final lap. I was oblivious to it all. Early efforts were my demise and I started to fade towards the end. Figured race was wrapped up as a group of 7 was a minute up the road. Fun fast 1.7 mi. course with a small hill and another gradual rise. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Team and Sponsor. Marco Off the Mark. San Marcos Circuit Race.

The Aram Chronic: February 2009
http://aramdellalian.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Je ne sais quoi. Thursday, February 12, 2009. On monday night I was pretty tired. One of those nights where you're sitting in bed about to sleep, but just as you're about to slip into dreamland, you remember you had something to do. Merde. The sleep sensation can never be the same if I got up. I had to shower still. I decided not to. Procrastinated it away 'till after the next morning's recovery ride. To be honest, I still don't know exactly, but am slowly putting the pieces together. We got to the hospi...

Musings of a Cyclotic: October 2007
http://cyclotic.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Musings of a Cyclotic. Thursday, October 18, 2007. What A Difference A Day Makes! Good news - I'm back in the game - on this morning's ride with one of my biking buddies, Ed, I did the Hwy 9 climb in 48:05 - about 4:20 faster than just a few days ago (when I did 52:25) - Wooohooo! Interestingly, my average heartrate was identical on both climbs - 153 bpm! And when I did that PB ride in April, I weighed 11 pounds less than today - according to Joe Friel, that ll pounds (5 kg) is worth 15 seconds per kilom...

Musings of a Cyclotic: December 2012
http://cyclotic.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Musings of a Cyclotic. Monday, December 31, 2012. 2012 End with a Breakthrough Ride! It was great biking weather (well, great from my perspective! Cool and sunny - it was around 50 degrees out, with just a slight wind blowing. Mike and I just tooled along, heading down the familiar path through Santa Cruz to get over to Capitola Beach via East Cliff Drive - a wonderful scenic ride for cyclists! In fact, that is exactly what we did - we got to Capitola Beach in just 55 minutes - woohoo! I just know that 2...

Did some races two weeks ago.san diego omnium (same course as boulevard RR) and a local crit. my team mates did a fine job in the RR. top ten, top 15, top 20. i finished towards 18-20th. the crit was fun. tony cruz was there. can't believe he rolled the dice at local crits before heading off to pari-roubaix? When you're pro your're pro i guess? THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE TANK VIDS: i'd like to fall asleep to this every night. My Team and Sponsor.

goldfishbike: Look ma' I've raced a bit.
http://goldfishbike.blogspot.com/2009/07/look-ma-ive-raced-bit.html
A journey back to health. Monday, July 13, 2009. Look ma' I've raced a bit. Went to my one year check up today. According to the CT scan it looks like bone is holding the clavicle together as opposed to a "fibrous bridge." That's good. Still there's work to be done to get things fully functional. Glad my current profession doesn't require heavy lifting or overhead work. Not nearly as many races as last year.but hey. 2-28 North End Classic. Stage 1. Criterium , Stage 2. Road Race. 3-29 LA Circuit Race.
