Dutch Authorities use interactive billboards to fight street violence. This is not the first time something like this has been done. In fact we have a Professor at The School of Art and Design that has used this technology to set up virtual picnics at Glastonbury. The billboard has needed a bit of revamp for a while and this may be it.

The stone wheel for all that is sure to come, in the form of personalised content and maybe even 3D ads, was the humble red button. And information search in the buyer decision making process. The only problem was that the red button was clunky, time consuming and often unavailable. It did continue to be used throughout the years though and was still in use by some companies.
