We had such a fun trip to the zoo with Grandma Whiteley and ShaLisa and her kids. ShaLisa's family has moved to Idaho and it has been a hard adjustment for my kids to not have their cousins so close. It has been over a year since they moved and Colson still says in his nightly prayers "please help Klark and Lanse move to Idaho.".

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Wahoo, quilt project completed! Yeah, I know, big shocker that I finished a project! It helps when friends cut out your quilting squares and hold babies while you sew. Thanks friends! To prevent the humidity from seeping through the blanket's bottom (as well as our own) as we eat our picnic lunch, I put vinyl tablecloth fabric underneath.
