The Precious Privilege and Power of Prayer. If not, why not? I believe if we honestly understood the power God has granted us through prayer, each of us would ravenously seek to wield that power. Do you realize that through prayer you can actually alter the course of history? Fifteen extra years of earthly life were given to Hezekiah because he prayed. Talk about a fountain of youth! What provision are you failing to receive because you haven’t taken the situation to God? August 6, 2010 at 12:10 am.

Live, With a Cap L. I had a dream the other night about the end of the world. How much longer do we have? None of us knows exactly. The real question that you must ask yourself is, How much longer do I have? Again, the answer is the same, but at once the impact should be far more sudden, far more meaningful and compelling. You do not know if in the next five minutes or fifty years you will enter into death. So what are you doing with your life? What do you have to show for yourself? Hey, Keep up the good...

As I stood there in the arena beneath the bleachers equipped in my fight gear, taking a break from warming up, I looked out towards the cage and beheld time. The announcer was introducing a karate star of old. In his prime he had won multiple titles including several world karate championship titles. He had competed and trained with legends. They spoke of his laden trophy case…. I wish I could remember his name……. Watch Johnny’s “Hurt”. Click here to cancel reply. Mail (will not be published) (required).

Am I scared of death? Assuredly and emphatically, NO! How can one not want to jump for joy when hope abounds? So I for one, look forward to that day of transition. Whether I go by way of old age or some other way, be it supernatural or tragic, I look forward to my transformed state and my new habitation. My favorite of favorite Scriptures is: No eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor has it entered into anyone’s imagination what God has in store for those who love Him! Like his ancestor David, Josiah had a heart after God’s own heart. David lived a life of devotion to God, highlighted by his darkest moments in which he expressed a level of repentance and brokeness only fit for one who was destined to be the ancestor of God Himself. How do I compare to Josiah and David? The question is, “How is your heart? 8221; Have you become callused, cold and indifferent? Oh, but if you would only rent your heart–if you would only stand! Tear to stand oh King, tear to stand. There i...
