Maren and Lillian - watch us grow. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. What started as a day for colored bubbles and the pool. Turned into a colored pool. My girls just love the water. No matter what color it is. I'm not sure if this is a sign of a good nights sleep or a restless one but it sure is funny! Yeah, I'm that far behind in my posts. embarrassing. Lillian's birthday will always fall right around Memorial Day. The long weekend makes it easy to invite up the Iowa White's for the weekend. Lillian got too cold.

The monkeys howl at 5am, the sun peaks through the bird of paradise around 5:30, the quick to rise husband starts the coffee at 6am and by 7 your day begins. After the warmth of a morning cup of costa rican coffee and the fulfillment of knowing you have no need to go farther than the hammock on the front porch you begin to set into saturday, the day of rest.

Monday, June 6, 2011. Bob and Ann's visit. Gramby and Annie came to visit us over Memorial Day weekend. It was a short trip, but a fun one! Getting a ride from the girls at the park at Chautauqua. Nea's somewhat unconventional method of swinging. She zips Muppy up in her jacket when it's cold, just like Mom and Dad do with Juliana ;). Hiking at NCAR with Gramby and Annie. Not quite the wilderness experience we'd been hoping for. But it was fun nonetheless! Grandpop came along, which was a lot of fun!

Friday, March 6, 2015. With the extra cold temperatures we had at the end of December, we started going a little stir crazy sitting in the house day after day. It was just way to cold to even go outside and play in the snow. I had heard about the Splash Pad in Lava Hot Springs, but we've never taken Ryker there so we made a date out of it. I'm so glad we went! If you haven't gone, do! He looks terrified, but this is mid squeal of joy! Merry Christmas from the Nelsons. After we picked up Grandma from Poky.
