http://chinychon.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
A LITTLE AND A LOT. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. And the seas will roar. I've had the flu the past couple of days, so I haven't accomplished much. Spent many hours resting, reading and sleeping. Consequently, at 3AM today I was awake. Although, it could have been the incredible body aches that had seemed to settle in my back, making it impossible to find a comfortable position. No this was different. It took a while but I finally figured out what it was. It was a *roaring" sound. I wish you could hear an...

(I guess I'm a follower not a leader, huh? So, what's my first post? Nothing dramatic, nothing earth shattering.just these from the Vogue pattern book. If we lived where it was cold, I would love to plan, sew and then wear one , or more, of these! So, I only like the camel colored version of this. That vest is ble-ech! Long version, please! So, t...

CHIN Y CHON: The Orphan Doll
http://chinychon.blogspot.com/2011/12/orphan-doll.html
A LITTLE AND A LOT. Sunday, December 25, 2011. This is the most precious gift I received from Bob for Christmas. Before I went to live with my folks, I spent 6 months in an orphanage. My mom picked my brother and I up a few weeks after Easter 1956 when I was 3 1/2 years old. That Easter someone had given all the children in the orphanage gifts. I received a trio of pink 'plush' items. A dog, a bunny and a doll. No we did not travel that entire distance, but tried to hit a large stretch in the area. M...

MAMA'S LITTLE MEN: Our Dear V.J.
http://jking5.blogspot.com/2008/10/our-dear-vj.html
A life full of laughs, dirt, and bruises. All because of "mama's little men.". Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Our Dear V.J. We've unwrapped a plethora of "things" from his neck, fingers and legs. Not to mention digging things out of his mouth. The Lord is absolutely in control of little Vaughn, he is one little living testimony that our Father is real.there is no coincidence here. Vaughn is compassionate, forgiving, funny, musically inclined (? Loud, needy, and should i mention a dare devil? I used to wish...

http://chinychon.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
A LITTLE AND A LOT. Monday, May 04, 2009. It's never easy.or "Pay cinco"? Since we didn't have a med team today, Tim, Evelyn, Bob and I decided to head out to Altos de Chavon about an hour and a half from Juan Dolio. Bob drove but we hadn't been there in about 4 years. For those that have been here, it is the other side of La Romana. Bob got out to talk to him. Today is May Day (actually May 1st but it's celebrated the Monday closest to the 1st). This is their Labor Day.a major holiday! It seems the secu...

Yet another blog by marissa for another college class. View my complete profile. Oy, With The Poodles Already. Been aWHILE since an update. ENG 104 (Fall 2008). Thursday, November 6, 2008. When I first began the research in my subculture I expected to find a lot of vanity issues among insider men and women. What I found was that, yes, this was true, however, there are much deeper issues involved in this aspect of the culture as well. Muscle dysmorphia was what surprised me. I want to find how that happens.

CHIN Y CHON: Two words tenderly spoken
http://chinychon.blogspot.com/2011/05/two-words-tenderly-spoken.html
A LITTLE AND A LOT. Monday, May 16, 2011. Two words tenderly spoken. Thursday was clinic day. We were closed the previous Thursday since Bob was in the States for his brother's memorial service. So we knew when we pulled up that there would be a crowd.and there was! Atleast 30 people waiting. Although regulars returning for refills on their BP and diabetic meds have priority, Elsie, our receptionist, makes sense out of the group and determines who is first. But this time as I approached it was quiet....
