Ldquo; We’ve lost key features that we used to rely on, and worse, we’ve abandoned core values that used to be fundamental to the web world.”. This is exactly why I feel like a dinosaur when I hear all those ebook people talking about metadata like it’s a whole new world - metadata is easy, we were all doing it back in ‘04.

What's On My Bookshelf. Stuff My Cat Likes. Sunday, 02 February 2014. JK Rowling has controversially said that Hermione should have been with Harry at the end of the Harry Potter series. I have (as the kids say) all the feels about this, and heres where they start:. Not everybody ends up married to someone they went to school with. And in some ways, it would have been more natural to my mind if Hermione had ended up with Krum, who at least hadnt seen her every day at breakfast for seven years. . I dont m...

I sort of took up running accidentally last year - mainly because a game I wanted to play was really only fun if you were running while you played it. The game - Zombies, Run! 0160;started off as a Kickstarter. Abels residents have an intriguing mish-mash of accents (Irish, London, American.) but they feel very real, and very like a community, which Im sure is down to Naomi Alderman. September 19, 2011 10:15 PM. On September 3rd, my dad died due to a very agressive and rare cancer of the kidney called collecting-duct carcinoma just six weeks after first experiencing symptoms. This was nine months to the day after my mom died from metastasized breast cancer two years after her initial diagnosis. I've learned a lot from witnessing their deaths. Though seldom with bare words like. Which is a word that sits heavily in the room whenever uttered. I learned that the death rattle is real.

This is the personal blog of Steve Lewis - aka sjlewis55. It contains (what he considers to be) interesting and amusing fragments drawn from life. Perhaps, it is in the marginalia that we find true meaning. Tuesday, 5 September 2017. I am certainly not deleting it; I am only discontinuing my now regular pattern of posts - which follows that for the 'sixy primes', as previously explained.
