Sunday, June 3, 2012. Silence, solitude, boredom. Timmy just left with the youth group on a service trip to Joplin, MO. This is one of the first big trips that i haven't gone on with the youth group. im kinda bummed. Joplin has been so important to me, and im thankful that our students are having the opportunity to go spend some time there helping with the recovery effort. Im gonna miss my sweet husband try to make the most of my week alone, bacheloretting it up. Maybe i'll even get a thoughtful blog out.

So, at zoe institute, we get to have free haircuts whenever, and one free color. so for my first color i requested ombre. i wouldn't have probably ever known what ombre was if it weren't for my dear friend taylor who put it up on her blog (see the "taylor does my hair" link on the side over there). Anyway, taylor even sent me instructions for exactly how to get it and so i finally convinced some classmates to do it for me today and i LOVE it! I've NEVER colored my hair before!

We went up to Peoria and saw all of your daddy's family. You were a little overwhelmed with the amount of people however they just think you are so special. In the last two weeks you are consistently sleeping 8-9 hours at night. I finally realized how tired I have been and have been cherishing the extra hours of sleep. May 9, 2009.
