PR in Chelsea-vision: August 2008
http://prchelsvision.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2008. A good idea or insight to dumb athletes? I'm interested to look through this site a little more and find out what is really going through the heads of some of my favorite players. I'm sure this is a PR tactic of some sort by asking the players to do this but hey it got me, right? Http:/ jefffrancoeur.mlblogs.com/. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). PR in Chelsea-vision: August 2009
http://prchelsvision.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 28, 2009. How'd this dream come true? Let's back track. You all know that I'm in Houston now, working for the Astros, but how did I get here? Some of you have heard the story, maybe more than once, but for those of you that haven't lets do a recap. . I walked into the marble lobby of Union Station, heels clacking on the floor, while I walked towards the receptionist lobby widely smiling. It was my phone-buddy, Heather, the person who started all of this. "Hey Chelsea, glad you coul...To cu...

PR in Chelsea-vision: Inspired.
http://prchelsvision.blogspot.com/2009/09/inspired.html
Wednesday, September 16, 2009. I'm glad I'm someone who takes things to heart. I always here people say, "just let it roll off your back," or, "it's really not that big of a deal," when people seems to let their emotions get in the way. I've never been able to do that, just get over something. There are things, yes, like the fact that this M&M bag only has a few morsels in it, but I couldn't get over the craving for them. We all filed into the "Draft Room" at two o'clock yesterday, in our clean, pressed ...

PR in Chelsea-vision: October 2009
http://prchelsvision.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 26, 2009. I don't know exactly what the posts on this blog are supposed to be about ( Astros. Or whatnot) but I'm going to write this one on something I recently decided. I went to the Western Days in Yorktown, Texas a few weekends ago with some of the interns and I saw a funny shirt. It read:. I laughed about it, but then, as usual, it got me thinking. How often do we give someone an Indian. If you take it out of the context of this shirt, this guy's " Indian. I HATED that, because I fel...

PR in Chelsea-vision: October 2008
http://prchelsvision.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Pull it. Bop it. Tip it. I was glad to find that. Was really a concept that was carried out and not a faux title like. Why does Generation Y remember rockin’ our Airwalks with pride and now we laugh at them? Both are concepts that tipped and accelerated without warning. . The Law of the Few is what makes movies like. Mavens, Connectors, and Salesmen are the three types of people that Gladwell describes; where do I fit? I actually decided when I was fourteen that I wanted to pur...

PR in Chelsea-vision: Thoughts... choices.
http://prchelsvision.blogspot.com/2009/10/thoughts-choices.html
Thursday, October 8, 2009. Sometimes I feel as though these thoughts are just silly, maybe it's just an exercise to keep my brain sharp, but sometimes my tender heart really pays attention to what I find. I have always believed that an interpretation is subjective, and what someone sees stems from how they are feeling or where they are in their life. Then, the other day I saw this sign:. Why did I notice this sign? Maybe I saw this sign, because I needed to be reminded that there is a choice, and that on...

PR in Chelsea-vision: What's goin' on?
http://prchelsvision.blogspot.com/2009/11/whats-goin-on.html
Thursday, November 12, 2009. It's been a crazy, fun couple of weeks. I have been to Japan and back, and now I'm writing a feature article for the Astros Magazine :). I had the AWESOME opportunity to make my first international trip, and I loved every minute of it. It's a big world out there, and I've caught the bug to explore more. As for the feature, I'm pumped. It's leaving me a lot less time to blog, or really do much else work, but it's what I have been waiting to do. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Ato...

PR in Chelsea-vision: Media + Relations
http://prchelsvision.blogspot.com/2009/09/media-relations.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. By, George, I think I've go it! Maybe I have figured out what media relations means and how it works. Here's my conclusion: media relations. Profound. It seems that people have a different view of what media relations is, and by people I include myself. I think for my years of studying. Public relations, I found too broad of an area and didn't realize that media relations is a very small, though very important, aspect OF public relations. Writers who spilled over. We really ar...

PR in Chelsea-vision: November 2009
http://prchelsvision.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 19, 2009. Have you ever tried really hard at something and not really received the recognition you felt you deserved? It's hard, huh? Why don't we spend more time giving compliments to people, instead of just writing it off as work/quality that they should have been producing? I'm going to take this out of the office and give it a personal feel. How often do you tell your friends you appreciate them? Honestly, I haven't been able to test this theory much. I haven't had too many tim...
