From alaska with love. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Last day of October news. Saturday was fun fun fun: 1) I'm no longer a Halloween virgin, and 2) I won Best Costume! It's not cold enough! Snow is steadily covering the mountains, but it turns to rain at Anchorage. Went cross country skiing on Sunday - a 15-minute drive gets me to Glen Alps, which is high enough to get inches of snow every day. Most excellent conditions, including an older guy skijoring with - wait for it - two goats! I'm in a musical!

I cannot wait till next winter. This is as far as we got. Well, I actually went a little bit further, but not up that second summit.
