December 12, 2013. Oh so long…. We'll figure out the car and one day very soon, I will make art in there. It's a little painful to go in there now, so sometimes I just sit and try to be calm and feel the sacredness of it. June 13, 2013. What we leave behind. The summer always feels like a mountain to climb for me. The pain of new growth and the excitement of new possibilities. No two objects can occupy the same space at the same time. Something must go to make room for the new. February 19, 2014. What I Find Along The way. It feels like it's been a long winter here. My usual 45 minute hike with the dog has sometimes turned into an hour and a half due to the deep snow. Sometimes I get mad about the walk because I'm anxious to get back home and start on my work. On good days, I take the time to look around and realize that my work has already begun.
