I rode it to church on Sunday and again last night for a Summer Worship Committee meeting. What I didn't count on was that I didn't so much need to get my legs in shape, but my butt! Saturday, June 25, 2005. TEACH IN NORTH CAROLINA! I find it amazing that schools in Ohio almost laugh when someone calls to ask about potential job openings, but schools in North Carolina practically beg people to come to their state to teach! For example - Most schools in NC offer moving bonuses and a hefty pay increase for teaching math or science. Hmm. Therefore, Bob and I are visiting NC this coming week, and I might come back with a job there. Wouldn't that be fun? ABBY MONNIN = I would go to Oregon!

Yesterday, that’s right, I finally caught up, sort of, I skipped a lot of stories I could’ve told but I’ll get to those later. Yesterday was my first day teaching. PS On the way to my room, having just typed this, I ran into the guys on the porch again, and we talked in German about how I liked Germany (I think they wanted me to say USA was better, but I didn’t) and then about the few Russian words I have learned. In Deutschland: Warum Nicht? Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Ich bin ein Englisch Lehrer, so heißt es jedenfalls. In other news I am starting to replace certain English words with German ones.
