My next post will include images from the filming and from the sound track recording with original music composed by Lise Vaugeois and performed by the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. Saturday, November 13, 2010. Taiji Brand Group has a new web site and has graciously featured my site under "Work". Thank you, and congratulations on a beautiful site. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. I did get a few hearts made in time for Valentine's Day, but more importantly I have been reminded what a lovely and flattering shape this is to wear. The new Flora "Double Love" pendants - inspired by Chinese coins and the Chinese New Year - are leaf printed on both sides, making them reversible. Some have images that relate to each other like "Forest" ( not shown ) - two plants from a beautiful hike near Courtenay BC. Showing the reverse side of the pieces above.

Though nature is often my muse, I am inspired by people and the things they create. Trying to make metal look and perhaps feel soft seems to be a thing with me. It probably has something to do with my love of textiles. Silk cords wound by hand and the soft lustre of pearls seem a natural compliment to metal.
