Just another WordPress.com weblog. The Muse has returned. Received Honorable Mention at Coastal Arts League Juried Show 2009. Welcome to my blog. I’ve been doing some paintings that are a new direction for me. Although I prefer to paint on canvas, every once in a while I will paint on paper. “Speranza” was painted on paper using acrylics and oil sticks and I liked it so much that I used it for my holiday greeting card. Several of my small abstract paintings have been consigned to Yonder Shop, a gallery on 158 Reina Del Mar, in the Vallemar district of Pacifica. Here is a statement I provided for these paintings:. Winter storms bring waves crashing onto the sandy beaches and the rocky shore, while creating the greenest of hillsides. These small abstract paintings are snapshots of my observations.
