My dear internet (and now real-life) friends. I think I've come to a conclusion. I like riding bikes. And seeing my friends. And baking them ginger apple crumb cakes. I don't like feeling like I've got to rush the mixing and quickly shove it in the oven, and then take hurried photos because the light is falling outside and I want the pictures to be good for you. I know that this is self created stress, but I think I want to go back to baking for enjoyment. And spent the funnest weekend in Paris with her.

We have a new Natural History museum here, and as much as I thought. The old one could not be beat, the new one did a fantastic job of changing our minds. We marveled over dinosaur bones that made watercolor-like shadows, and minerals with textures and colors that are still swimming around in my mind. November 21, 2011 at 8:19 AM.
