We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us. Tuesday, 30 September 2014. Fiestas Patrias and Ronja! I had a great last 2 weeks! This was such a nice day, we had a lot of fun! That is such a great feeling! Still when people ask, Do you speak Spanish? I say: a little bit, but really I can understand most of it now which is exciting! So haha yes that would be great, although I can easily get distracted on the internet or with whatsapp, so 4 more days of focus and we shall see how far I get!

Lots of street dogs in Chile, however they are all taken care of by the population, they are fed, given medicines and given blankets to wear throughout the winter. Quite a few homeless people. Most of the houses in Chile are built for warm weather, so when I'm in my room, I have a hot water bottle on my stomach, I'm under my blankets and have the heater on. Avocados are Very popular! Looking forward to living with them.

Fieldtrip Efteling

Zondag 22 mei 2011. Na deze presentatie ben ik er wel achter gekomen dat de Efteling niet de plaats is waar ik mijn stage wil gaan lopen en ben ik blij dat ik mee ben geweest op deze Fieldtrip. Hoe zit de organisatie precies in elkaar? De Efteling heeft een erg groot personeelsbestand waar alle soorten personeel onder vallen. De directeur maar ook de mensen die schoonmaken.
