http://riodejaneiro-dailyphoto.blogspot.com/2010/09/mr-driver-please.html
Blog of Note - June 2010. Monday, September 13, 2010. Mr Driver, please! The trams were launched in Rio in 1892, and circulated until 1963, marking the lives of several generations of locals. At first, curiously, was not considered a mass transport, but served the elegant people that used it to go to the Opera House or the Municipal Theater. This model is at the Museum of Light - the company that managed the trams for a long time - and was preserved after being restored in 1994. 169; Rio Daily Photo.

Rio Daily Photo: The real 'acaiu'
http://riodejaneiro-dailyphoto.blogspot.com/2010/09/real-acaiu.html
Blog of Note - June 2010. Thursday, September 16, 2010. In April, we published a post with some false cashews. Cashews carved in wood, sold at the Hippie Fair of Ipanema. Today, we show the real one. The fruit symbol of the Brazilian Northeast. The cashew is fully exploited: the juice, the pulp and especially his nut. The cashews are prized worldwide as an aperitif and accompaniment to drinks. Em abril, publicamos um post com alguns falsos cajus. 169; Rio Daily Photo. Created by glduro marieloupe. Le vér...

Rio Daily Photo: One African God in Rio
http://riodejaneiro-dailyphoto.blogspot.com/2010/09/one-african-god-in-rio.html
Blog of Note - June 2010. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. One African God in Rio. It seems that someone has lost a small sculpture on the street. We photographed this little head on the sidewalk near our home. He looks like a deity or an idol out of African polytheism. Brazil is a country of multiple religions. Predominantly Catholic, lives with religions and sects of all faiths. There is an idol! It's just a work of Mother Nature! It is a dried flower, fallen from a tree on the sidewalk! Não é um ídolo!

The neighborhood of Lapa, which posted an old house yesterday, is part of the cultural corridor of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Gradually, the old houses are being reclaimed and turned into bars, restaurants and cultural institutions as the Museum of Image and Sound, for example, and even bookstores and used book stores. To view images of the original house at the restaurant's site. Este é o Bar do Ernesto, fundado, em...

Blog of Note - June 2010. Wednesday, September 15, 2010. This refrigerated truck carries frozen chickens semi-ready. Frankly, me too I'd be wide-eyed if frozen.
Blog of Note - June 2010. Saturday, September 11, 2010. I can see you! It is unusual the house looks to the viewer . But it's that what it seems to happen here. Closed windows, and the empty balcony make us believe in an abandoned house. But the "eyes" that glow and the fixed look to us make to imagine another life behind the yellow walls. In that case, Irina, the empty house really looks to you . Neste caso, Irina, a casa vazia realmente olha para você . 169; Rio Daily Photo. Created by glduro marieloupe.
