Behind the Bookcase: The Reasons Why...
http://behindbookcase.blogspot.com/2010/02/reasons-why.html
BEHIND THE BOOKCASE . attic living in HEIDELBERG. Sunday, February 7, 2010. One day at a time for the last thirteen years these people have encouraged me to become a better person. I'm not sure they would say that, but that's my reality. My moment of clarity was real simple, "if you keep doing what you're doing, you're gonna lose your kids." Ok. Today, I have a great life. John is an amazing husband. The kids make me laugh. And because I want sobriety more than I don't, I'll keep coming back. Marie's Fir...

BEHIND THE BOOKCASE . attic living in HEIDELBERG. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Halloween 2009 - Heidelberg Style. It's that time of year again. Each Fall I begin to hope that perhaps this year Halloween will pass us by without the last minute panic for a 'legit' costume or some near-crisis in generating 'a look.' This of course was not the year for such achievement and the troops did not fail to disappoint with their same-day need for a Halloween costume. Fun Halloween times with my people is where it's.

BEHIND THE BOOKCASE . attic living in HEIDELBERG. Tuesday, February 16, 2010. It's that time of year again. time to get your party on and attend Fasching! It's a celebration tied to Lent somehow - but is designed to scare away the demons of winter. Sounds like Mardi Gras with a sprinkling of Groundhog's Day. Joe, please stand over by the carousel for the little guys - I want to take your picture.". Joe buying a Nutella crepe. The two of us making our way to the Bismarkplatz. I love this guy. And heard, "...

Bill and Charlotte 8. Friday, August 27, 2010. The day after the Fourth Marc was off work. We took a road trip to the Delaware Rehoboth Beach. We all enjoyed a day at the beach. I loved watching Joseph try to jump the waves. He asked Marc to bury him in the sand. He was loving it! And of course we found plenty of dead jelly fish. Joseph was brave enough to catch some. Not me. :). Joseph breaking the waves! Joseph loved playing with Uncle Andrew! They were always fun to watch. June 23, 2010.

Bill and Charlotte 8. Monday, May 14, 2012. Saturday, May 14. We decided to make a quick trip to Berlin. Joe went with us. He was our translator, the only one who could speak German. It was great having him along. We had a lot of fun. Started out the day with a train to Mannheim then to Frankfurt to catch the ICE train. Only a couple hours away and we were in Berlin. We took a hop on-hop off bus tour to see most of the sights. Those bus tours became our best friends by the end of our trip. May 14-15, 2011.

Bill and Charlotte 8. Friday, December 10, 2010. A Week of Giving Thanks. We went straight from Branson to Dallas for Thanksgiving. We were able to spend time with Joanna and her family and also Jacob, Nanitzi, and Thomas. It was so much fun. The first night we got there we walked in a 5K through the Grand Prairie Christmas light display, called the Sneak-a-Peek run. All their lights were turned on while we walked through. Much warmer then any Christmas light walk through you'll find in St. Louis. Me and...
