A Tale of Two Kiddies: December 2008
http://taleoftwokiddies.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Nine years ago today, my daughter entered the world. After nearly three full days of trying to trick my body into having her the "old-fashioned way", I relented to a c-section. We didn't click for some time, my daughter and I. I suppose at some level, I resented this little creature who had put me through such a difficult birth. My husband stepped in and bonded with her while I tried to push through the haze of new motherhood and depression to find my place. Today, she is nine.

Thursday, January 31, 2008. Should I Be Worried? Please don't do anything stupid! I won't, mom." I know he doesn't. He'll do anything stupid. Yes", he said, and he told me how he ran into a tree while snowboarding in Oregon with his freinds. He ripped his leg in a few places. He just had surgery yesterday and won't be able to walk for 6 months. I felt sick. My kids have ski club tonight! Wednesday, January 30, 2008. I've been high-fived by my friend Marie at Marie's Random Thoughts on Love and Life.

A Tale of Two Kiddies: Absenteeism
http://taleoftwokiddies.blogspot.com/2009/02/absenteeism.html
Monday, February 2, 2009. I am taking more courses than usual this quarter and am trying to get grad school applications in order, too. I am still a mom, wife and friend. So, coupled with my Facebook obsession, this place has taken a backseat lately. For those of you who still bother visiting, I apologize for that. I am still reading most of your posts but commenting is pretty infrequent. As Bartles and James said, "thanks for your cooperation.". February 2, 2009 at 5:29 AM. February 2, 2009 at 9:24 AM.

A Tale of Two Kiddies: Black and Blue
http://taleoftwokiddies.blogspot.com/2009/02/black-and-blue.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2009. So I am a slacker of mega proportions when it comes to blogging. Some days I am determined to get back on the horse 'cause I do love to read about you (I lurk more than comment, though, these days) and love your comments here even more. Other days, I think I will just throw in the towel. A little yellow rose from Texas. Though, keeps pecking (nicely and gently) and keeps me from doing the latter. So, back to the title of this post: black and blue. I shoulda listened to my gut.

A Tale of Two Kiddies: October 2008
http://taleoftwokiddies.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 20, 2008. Nah, it's not Superman. It's just Liam doing his latest and greatest trick. That is, he drops to his knees and then, gently, to his belly and extends his arms and legs as if he were the Man o' Steel. This happens when something doesn't quite go his way and can happen at a moments notice- indoors or out. The kid doesn't care where or on what surface, he just lays down. Then he whines until someone picks him up. He is doing this 10, sometimes 20 times a day. Youve just gotta laugh.

A Tale of Two Kiddies: January 2009
http://taleoftwokiddies.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 13, 2009. I have a confession, internetz. I have been cheating on you. I have a new lover in my life and it has quietly and unobtrusively eaten the time I used to spend here blogging and reading your blogs. I am ashamed at my indiscretion. I also know that this new lover is one that isn't necessarily approved of in the blogging community because of its fickiness about boobs and babies. If you hadn't guessed, I have joined the ranks of those addicted to Facebook. Sunday, January 4, 2009.

Friday, February 29, 2008. How Do You Spell. Now this picture doesn't make me feel so bad. Last night I was helping my son go over his spelling words. Today is his test. I would give him the words to spell. He wrote them down. Then we would go over the ones he missed. There were only 8 words, yet he managed to missed on average 4 every time! After about 1/2 hour I said, "Go upstairs and have your dad give them to you." Survivor was on, you know. Hmm We'll see about that when the test comes back home.

A Tale of Two Kiddies: August 2008
http://taleoftwokiddies.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 25, 2008. My car wouldn't start on Friday morning. Instead of panicking, I chose to see this as a good thing seeing as how we leave for Hilton Head Island on September 5. Better now than then, right? Then, I learned that the dealer, who must work on my vehicle because of the warranty, is booked solid until Thursday, August 28. Guess who had to beg, borrow, steal and threaten a lawsuit to get a crummy loaner car? I mean, even us SAHMs. Must run to The Wal. Mart once in a while, right? As I ...

A Tale of Two Kiddies: Love Is In The Air...
http://taleoftwokiddies.blogspot.com/2009/02/love-is-in-air.html
Saturday, February 14, 2009. Love Is In The Air. Can't you just here the theme from "Love Boat" now. Blah, blah, exciting and new.THE LOVE BOAT. Okay, so I can't remember all of the song but I was just a wee little girl when this show was on; I remember liking Jill and thinking how pretty she was. Long before my husband and I decided to have kids, we were newly in love and celebrating our first Valentine's Day. I had to work but my then-boyfriend did not. MamaGeek @ Works For Us. I'm a thirty-something w...
