Monday, March 22, 2010. Alyssa has been on a new medication since the beginning of February, and it seems to be working pretty good. She still has had some break through seizures but there isn't as many and she doesn't seem to be as sedated as she was before. So we are working on getting her off of the other two meds. And she didn't really know how to read the EEG results; plus we are hoping to get a definite. Diagnosis so we can know exactly what we are dealing with. So the head neurologist.

Friday, September 19, 2008. It's finally here. The fall we've been waiting for. We welcomed a new addition to the family in April. She has been such a delight. It has been so much fun watching Alyssa accept the responsibilities of being a big sister. We have done a lot this summer. From a day at Lagoon, Family reunions, a pass to the Zoo, moving, and we are going to wrap it up next week with a trip to sunny southern California to see the Princesses at DisneyLand. Who could ask for more. DC - NY Roadtrip.

Monday, December 8, 2008. And sure enough she was cutting a tooth. So we got out the numbing quetips and held her down some more and made sure we got enough on her gums so that we could get some sleep. Luckily that was it. We haven't even had to use any more quetips since that night. What a good baby! We have been so blessed with her. I don't know what I would do if she wasn't such a good baby. Just a side note-on Sunday we were in the chapel during the opening exercises for primary and I looked over to check on Alyssa and all I saw was two legs and some purple panties.
