Monday, June 29, 2015. 2 Years : 7 Months. Long and Lean with. Dressing herself. She generally vetoes two or three outfits I've set out for her and goes with her own choices, including the shoes to match. Recognizing sensations in her body. Hunger vs. needing to poo, etc. Her best friends are momma, daddy, Elizabeth, Claire, Kember and Lilla. In no particular order. I'm just happy to have made the cut. Swimming. All the time! In our family pool. Best purchase ever at the end of last summer! ME: Yes you do.

You can find us in our little swimming pool more often than not. Barbeques on the deck - watermelon, corn on the cob, rhubarb jonathan. More time in the pool. Fireworks at the Wilson's. Sunday, June 21, 2015. Plane rides with Grammy Lisa. We had a wonderful time at Parma Convention! Little miss did great on the plane! Are we flying through the air? Are we in the clouds? That's a funny feeling in my body! It was a quick trip to Idaho - time is never long enough when you're surrounded by friends! We missed having daddy there with us, but time with my girl is always special. It's amazing to me how quickly a child learns the magic of convention. I'll be quiet mommy.". Is that a worker?

So to make it special, we found a house at the beach and settled in for some McDonald family time. Our first family trip to the Newport Aquarium! An epic toddler meltdown during Brian's birthday lunch out on the town. Experiencing sea lions up close and personal! Iris's first experience dying easter eggs. An easter egg hunt in the rain. Ugh.another year gone and my baby is not my baby any more! He loves all things trucks, pickups, tools, mud, and his daddy! He is a daddy's boy! He asks where he is all day long and as soon as he sees him pull in the driveway, he runs to greet him! He is all boy! And we love every bit of him, naughty or nice! The best with all three.

I asked what she wanted for breakfast and she said she wanted to cook in her kitchen and have a picnic outside. So we did. Here's the proud picnicker and she even put her apron on! Then we did "dishes.". Then we washed the window. This is the result of the "washed" window. Then she made "soup" out of her dishwater. :). This is Lila's trash can (with empty soup cans in it).
