Wednesday, October 17, 2012. 30 by 30: 3 Done 5 In Progress. 5 Finish painting studio walls. 9 Make my bed every day for a month (I stole this one from Kim). It's been 21 days and I've only missed 1 day. Forming a new habit. Feels good. 10 Memorize 10 new verses. 2 down 8 to go. Verse #1 "Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! 17 Fix front flower beds. At least until spring anyway.

Thursday, July 22, 2010. My, what a busy couple of weeks I’ve had! It’s been just CRAZY! First I had to take Benz to the vet; he was sooo good. I put him in his pet taxi and he just curled up and watched me drive. Didn’t cry even once! Hmm maybe I should plan to do that tomorrow.). Today I found a leak! The hose going from the toilet to the wall was dripping water all over my floor! Luckily I was able to turn off the water to the toilet while I waited for maintenance to come. (Thank you Google! Thursday, September 6, 2012. I was greatly inspired by my friend, Kim's 30 by 30 list and decided to make my own. I'm giving myself 1 year and 4 months to accomplish my goals, but I'm not gonna beat myself up if I don't. I started my new job at Book-A-Holic on September 1st. I hope it's not like this next Saturday. Occasionally we get on each other's nerves but usually we can separate and get over it. Tuesday, March 3, 2009. Home of the Miss Kansas Pageant. Main Street is still brick and the Hot and Cold towers are still standing. A few other odd facts: Pratt has 5 consignment stores (all on Main Street), at least 5 Mexican restaurant, 5 auto/parts stores and not a single ice cream parlor! With a population of about 8,000, do we really need that many Mexican restaurants? Bring back the Dairy Queen! Nothing new and exciting has happened here, just living life, and still looking for a job.
