Friday, November 6, 2009. A rare moment in our house (the cat usually runs from BJ). A snake Russ caught in the backyard:. The kids very first time going miniature golfing. They had fun, and we were very glad that there was no one else on the course. Perfect for little kid golfing. The hay ride at the pumpkin patch:. Out in the pumpkin patch picking out our pumpkins:. Sissy and BJ- aren't they cute? Went to the dentists office, where he bought it for $1/lb. That made me and the kids very happy.

Thursday, August 19, 2010. Last day on the ship! I took a few pictures of around the ship, since I hadn't really done that. The pool above was on the aft deck, and never used. They did hold a polar bear plunge there, but I'm pretty sure the water is heated, so I don't really see the point! And yes, those are cows. Below is our room. Little but very comfortable. The middle of the ship had this big organ that would play a couple times a day. In fact, the whole ship had a music theme for decor and such.

Monday, July 12, 2010. Day 3 of our cruise was a port stop in Juneau! Alaska's tiny isolated capitol. (They don't like Sarah Palin there, because she wants to move the capital to Anchorage.) It's only accessible by boat or plane, so even as a capitol city it retains its quaintness. Above is a view as we were pulling in toward Juneau.
