I'm Mrs. Yorkie :. Find me on twitter. Ornamental Inspiration: A Modern Twist. Isn't it something how an ordinary object, when viewed in a different context, can provide an unexpected spark of wedding genius? Take this Christmas ornament from the MoMA collection, for example. Artist Eva Zeisel's punch-hued, mouth-blown glass bell provides the perfect inspiration for these modern wedding details. Happy Holidays, hive! May they be merry and bright! Links to this post. I'm Mrs. Yorkie :. Find me on twitter. I wish that I could say that the few days prior to our wedding were spent relaxing and having fun with family that had flown in from all over the country because everything was done. While most of the major things were indeed taken care of, there were a few unfinished projects that I needed to wrap up. One of those projects was our DIY monogram wreaths. Inspired by a lovely project. Here's what I used to make each one:. 12" Styrofoam wreath form. 2" wide satin ribbon.

I'm Mrs. Yorkie :. Find me on twitter. One year ago today. One year ago today, vows were exchanged. One year ago today, toasts were made. One year ago today, cake was eaten. One year ago today, people danced. One year ago today, we became husband and wife. The 365 days since our adventure began seriously seem to have flown by! Looking ahead, I'm so very excited about the adventures that await. More than anything, though, I'm grateful that I can count on Mr. Y to be alongside for each of them. I seriously...

Then she all but disappeared without even sharing a bit about the most wonderful day of her life? Yeah, that would be me. This Yorkie's been a bad. Catching up at work and with life in general took longer than I'd anticipated. Hard at work on our quirky pool-colored patio. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hi, I'm Marissa.

His Birdie's Nest: February 2011
http://hisbirdiesnest.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Blogs I ♥. 30 ish SoCal girl. Living with her adorable Hubs. Blogging about her - loving, cooking, baking, eating and going to interior design school. Is there something you want to know? February 25, 2011. 1 - You're a great snuggler. 2 - You helped me with my project the other night, and even though I got mad at you, you actually helped me instead of giving me the answers. 3 - When you had Monday off (and I didn't) you vacuumed and straightened up the house before I came home. Sweet Talk Five for Friday.
