Tuesday, January 3, 2017. It is hard to believe that 2016 is gone and a new year has begun. I'm telling you, the older you get, the faster a hour goes by. On December 21st, I had my braces put on. That was one uncomfortable hour. But! The first week was the hardest. My jaw hurt and my bottom teeth ached. I couldn't even chew a tiny piece of bread. Saturday, April 16, 2016. Almond Butter Banana Pancakes. 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour. 2 T baking powder. 1/4 tsp. salt. 1/4 c almond butter. 1 1/4 c. almond milk. 1 small banana, diced. In a small bowl mix together dry ingredients. In a separate small bowl, whisk eggs and vanilla together. In a saucepan heat butter, almond butter, and almond milk until butter is melted and mixture is smooth. Serve with your choice of toppings. I eat mine with only butter! The chocolate gives it enough of a sweetness for me.
