I remember at primary school the swimming and athletics carnivals were compulsory. i never really minded participating in the swimming carnival as they were only 15 metre races or 25 metre races . hahah. so easy now i think! As most of you know Cerebral Palsy affects co-ordination. In order to many sports you need co-ordination. I was fortunate that i was good at tennis but i use to always get teased! Cerebral Palsy and me. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. These are just some of the worlds that come to people's minds when they hear "disability" mentioned. Why does society have to use and think of these words? Why do we have to be seen as different? Why can't be seen like everyone else? Even if it is wiht an impairment? People need to make sure that when we are thinking about disabled people we are thinking about all the different people involved. When will people realise that we can do things that others can?
