Thoghts of a Syrian immigrant خواطر مغترب سوري. So we got hit with 3 feet of snow. Do you know what 3 feet mean? I took some pictures while driving today. Enjoy. I went out again this morning after the second storm hit us and took the pictures below. I came home two nights ago to an empty fridge. Haven't gone grocery shopping in a while, I decided to head to the supermarket to get my meat, cheese, milk, fruits, and favorite Ciabatta bread. Franklin Roosevelt once said. Thoghts of a Syrian immigrant خواطر مغترب سوري. أشّرت للتاكسي بإيدي، شحط فرام، سيارتين وراه لح يفوتو فيه. إستأجرت سيارة بالبلد بس ماكنت إستعملها كتير لسببين: خايف يروح محل الصفة قدّام بيتنا،. وبعرف مالح لاقي محل صف مطرح مو رايح. على سوق الهال لو سمحت. زورني وبدا يسوق. أكيد أكلت مسبة تالتة. مبيّن عليه مهزوز بدنو. شباك أخي، شايفك متدايق، الله يعينك، السواقة ببلدنا مو سهلة. بدا يشكيلي همّو. طلع معي قبلك واحد مغترب معفّن.طلع عدّادو ٣٠ ليرة. ناولني خمسين قلتللو والله ما معي كمالة. البغل مغترب ساكن بأمريكا.
