Jared and Mary Chaffin met up at BYU-Idaho in 2002 and were married the following year in the San Diego Temple. After school,they moved to Utah where Jared worked with a construction company for a few years. Brody Michael Chaffin was added to the family on October 1st, 2006 in Sandy, Utah and Ellie Jane Chaffin on September 29th, 2009 in Rexburg, ID. Jared finally graduated from BYU-I with a BS in Construction Management in December 2009 and is now working with Wadsworth Bros Construction.

Ellie wanted to help. so she tasted all the ornaments to make sure they were ready to hang. We had to rearrange to fit it in our tiny living room. Posted by The Chaffins. Sunday, October 31, 2010. Ellie was the cutes little pumpkin. she loved her costume and wanted to where the hat to bed. The Trick or Treat Gang. they were die hard. we loaded them all in the van and drove throught the sleet and rain to "get them some candy". Then we gave up and came home to watch halloween specials, eat the candy, and the rain finally cleared up. wha, wha, wha! Still a really fun time. This is what happens to brody at bedtime (not just on halloween). He becomes a bloodsucking monster.

Saturday, August 28, 2010. So we are still at Grandma and Granpa Wells' house. It feels as if we will never stop being house guests! We are still waiting on a few job leads and hope they will come through soon! In the meantime we are puting up everything that gets ripe in the garden.including over 60 jars of salsa so far and some assorted peaches, jams, and pasta sauce. The canning is keeping me sane right now thankfully. Ellie and Jared at the Payson Lakes. look theres my leg, grrrr!
