Odious politics - dr mitch. Laquo; previous entry. Next entry ». 14th Jun, 2010 10:55 pm. For a while I've been thinking more than I used to about politics. My first reaction when I realised this was to blame the election, but it's not just that- interest has been growing since we moved back to Britain in 2007. That's a. And I `we' rather than a royal `we', in case you were wondering. Political opinions and ones I merely disagree with- however strongly. I'm friends with plenty of people who hold opinions...

Nonecdotes - dr mitch. Laquo; previous entry. Next entry ». 26th May, 2008 09:59 am. I admit it. I have an extremely bad habit that annoys those around me. Or rather, as I'd better say before. Someone points it out, I probably have several annoying habits, but for now I'm just going to focus on one. I think I'm a pretty funny and entertaining person. Sometimes I like to tell anecdotes. The problem is, by far the majority of my anecdotes are like this. Just tell me.". No, it's boring.". Anyway, I thought ...

Reviewettes - dr mitch. Laquo; previous entry. Next entry ». 17th Jun, 2008 12:12 pm. Earlier this week, Marjory and I reached our thirteenth anniversary. To be completely honest, I'm not sure of the exact date (I know- shame on me), but we deem it to be the 13th of June. Marjory has already written about that. This morning I visited the dentist for a scale and polish. Was told I needed to spend more time brushing my teeth. But all in all better by far than my last visit. I Am Legend (3/5). My disappoint...

Good news and bad news - dr mitch. Good news and bad news. Laquo; previous entry. Next entry ». 24th May, 2008 09:58 am. My good news is that I was wrong in my last post about the process involved in obtaining a Habilitation. Stage (4) was unnecessary, and I've completed stage (3). So. I've got it. I'm pretty chuffed. Does it say something about me or about human nature that I've just written more about my dirty old tooth than I have about my shiny new qualification? 24th May, 2008 09:13 am (UTC). I coul...

Take Heart - Storybook

Life as I see it. On 01 09 2011 at 17:44. I don't believe that there is anyone who could not benefit from this. It is with horrible sinking realization that one discovers while shuffling rough their music on their mp3 player that they have forgotten to take Heart! As a public service I present to you the best of the best and the most practical of the practical instances which just taste better with a bit of Ann and Nancy. The first and definitely one of the most rewarding is the karaoke bar! Number four ...

Dipping my toes back in the water. Observations, rants and anxieties of a reasonably bright, but terminally bored young woman. Monday, May 31, 2004. Forgot to mention the biggest thing that happened to me today - i got into a 14! Posted by Cherrypie at 1:40 am. Links to this post. Sunday, May 30, 2004. In the event, I was in very safe hands. He was charming and I think even more nervous than I! So maybe I'm not entirely repulsive to all except the care-in-the-community community. Links to this post.

Dipping my toes back in the water. Observations, rants and anxieties of a reasonably bright, but terminally bored young woman. Friday, January 21, 2005. I've barely had time to catch my breath this week let alone fill you in on my night out in Dullthorpe. It was great. I laughed a lot, I danced a bit, I didn't drink too much and I over-ordered at the Indian, as did everyone else. I could even have pulled if I'd wanted but I was having far too good a time. A 30 year old with gallstones? Links to this post.

Dipping my toes back in the water. Observations, rants and anxieties of a reasonably bright, but terminally bored young woman. Tuesday, August 31, 2004. And here endeth another single Bank Holiday! Thank God there isn't another one until Christmas, and at least there might be something half decent on the telly then! So what have I done with my day? Visited interesting places, had laughter, sun, company and too much wine? I fell asleep on the sofa to the strains of Angela Lansbury and a broomstick! Excuse...

Well I never!: exspelunca

There was I, standing in the slowly-moving Christmas queue in our local post office and idly looking at the the fancy goods display and the cartoon mugs when my eye was caught by a sort of elongated egg cosy, knitted in red and with a white "fur" and plastic holly leaf trim. "? I thought. Then I saw the label. "Willy Wear". Both. Will vouch for this being a respectable neighbourhood. It does, however, pose three questions. Who? And most of all "WHY? Is anyone willing to enlighten me/confess?
