I was born and grew up in New Jersey. Graduated from the Joe Kubert School in 1989. Working since September of 1990 in the Art Department of the world's largest flag manufacturer, where I am Art Director. Done (and doing) all kinds of freelance on the side from painting pumpkins to inking an issue Hawkman for DC. Currently balancing the fulltime job with a bunch of freelance lettering for Viz, drawing my own comics and sharing time with my very patient wife and our awesome kids.

New drinks for old drunks. Eric Bachman, Ben Gibbard, Jonathan Richman, and Mark Kozelek played a Tsunami benefit show last week. Due to an office-packing-party. Hard at work on the second Chapter of Claviger. While most of it takes place in bars, bedrooms, and Brooklyns a few Avalon places are introduced that become pivotal much later. Hence all this concept stuff. The two sketches following this post were originally to be the dwelling of the Muses, but I decided it needed to be prettier so I scrapped those. I don’t right know. All of the sketches below were created in the Carlson Iceberg Wilderness on a four day backpacking adventure. They are divided by what seem to be the three largest activities involved in backpacking such as we do. Setting up camp, sitting around camp, sleeping, watching the fire and pooing). The end of the birthday celebration weekend. It went quite well. Hosted the second annual party at my place with a nice turn out.
