B 1/7, I saw the “E” on the 4 line pretty clearly. 6/29 Palm, flash, sway. 7/6 I noticed that I usually discern the letters better if I take my first impression of each one as opposed to looking at one letter for a length of time until it clears. 7/9 My vision seemed to naturally clear by the end of the session. As for my plans to reach further vision improvements: right now I will just try to wear my glasses less often (wearing the lowest prescription possible when I do) and practice open focus with the chart most/all days for at least 15 minutes. I should juggle more. January 16, 2012 – 5:18 pm. I read to 14/20, almost 14/15 today outside and it was somewhat cloudy. Today, I didn’t run very much, due to my being a little disappointed and confused in how well I didn’t feel. I had an expectation of my vision clearing, I think, but I didn’t experience it. That confusion led to me just stopping. Yet I did better on the chart than I usually do, even on a sunny day (I generally nowadays can get to 15/30–about half). Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

I should juggle more. September 25, 2009 – 2:13 pm. I ordered some glasses yesterday. Right now the ones I’m wearing are about -3.25, or -3.5, but the PD is 66–I only have a PD of 60.5. I ordered them from Zenni, and I picked a PD of either 60 or 61 for each. Hopefully having the right PD will make it easier to see through them! Inside Snellen chart readings. But I have been practicing a bit of chartwork, although I haven’t been doing great–too much work, I guess. I do it from about 3 feet away and in indoor lighting, I can sometimes get the 20 or 15 line. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I mean, I am doing the usual principles–practicing my chart (which is imperative!

I’ve added these images to show that my prescription has stabilized, and even improved slightly, since starting very half-hearted vision improvement in 2009. If nothing else, this shows that my efforts to only wear as much prescription as I need at any one time (e.g. -3.50 for cooking and using the computer) has halted the progression of my myopia.
