Wednesday, September 7, 2011. In search of the perfect tree. Such a busy boy . . . Will enjoying the freedom to roam at Emily's 4th grade field trip to a nearby ranch. We had such a fun Thanksgiving with my sister Jennifer and her family who came from Dallas. Somehow we ended up with 8 pies - one per kid. We enjoyed pie with every meal for days! The older girls made various banners for Jane's birthday and tacked them up throughout the house. This was Abby's portrait of Jane. Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach.

William being completely oblivious to the magnitude of the occasion made it through the day in his normal, pleasant, mellow way until it was cake time. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Galveston: Shrimp and Frogs. My family spent a week at the beach in Galveston in June. It was wonderful! People had to come and go throughout the week because of their schedules, but it worked out very well. By the time my little family got there, Peter had to leave pretty soon - but not before he and my dad got some fresh shrimp to eat! While Jordan cooked hamburgers, the kids caught frogs - and loved it! It was hot to eat outside, but at least we did it once. Dayton - 21 Months.
