Wednesday, December 21, 2011. We finally got some snow here! Last year we had a ton; this year not so much. The only problem is the girlies think it's free food that falls from the sky. The first thing they do when they get out side is eat mouthfuls of snow.which has caused them to have diarrhea all week. (Too much information? Monday, October 1, 2012. Our most recent trip was what you might call a "babymoon." You know, one last awesome trip before a baby is born. Because traveling with 3 kids will probably be tricky, but traveling with 2 is so easy. Anyway, first stop: Pompeii. We had a wonderful, hot, sticky, time wandering around this well-preserved and huge ancient city. When we came across the famous bodies in the garden Sadie freaked out. Mount Vesuvius in the background. Those bodies are freaky - Im with Sadie on this one.

The croissants were so good that we ended up eating about four petit dejuneur's the first morning. This little guy may be the best thing we have eaten in Europe (and we have eaten a lot in Europe). Our recommendations: apple or almond. Sadie climbed practically the whole stair portion by herself. Ahh me, Le Seine.

Sunday, October 23, 2011. Italy with the Thomsons. Getting his haircut out on the front of the deck. We flew into Bologna and then took a train out to the coast with these two weasels. They loved everything about the train (except parental supervision). This time we didn't attempt any zany hikes like last time.
