Tip's Included: A Family of 6. Our beautiful mess of a life and how I'm ever so thankful! Thursday, July 28, 2011. Hot Air Balloon Classic. I would say that we woke the kids up at the crack of dawn to come to this but sadly, my kids normally wake up at the crack of dawn. one day they will sleep in, right? Every year in Sonoma county there is a hot air balloon classic and we went for the first time this year. The boys loved it! A little glimpse of Jesus. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Last Day of Preschool.

Tip's Included: A Family of 6. Our beautiful mess of a life and how I'm ever so thankful! Saturday, June 2, 2012. Before I move on into January :), I thought I'd just put a few pictures of my Christmas decorations. It was our first Christmas in our house and I want to remember where I put things! I'm most proud of my front door! I had so many fun comments on it! This is my most special nativity. it is carved from an olive tree and my parents bought it in Jerusalem this past year. Tip's Included: A Family of 6. Our beautiful mess of a life and how I'm ever so thankful! Sunday, June 5, 2011. For Mother's Day this year, Mark gave me a photo shoot with the same girl who did Pierce's newborn/Jake's 2 year old pictures. I thought that it was the most special gift he could have given me because these pictures will last forever! He earned major points and it is probably a gift I should come to expect every Mother's Day, don't you think? My Little Farm Boys. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tip's Included: A Family of 6. Our beautiful mess of a life and how I'm ever so thankful! Wednesday, April 30, 2014. It's official. we are 6! I had every intention of blogging the night before baby #4 was born. It would have been interesting for me to read now. What I was feeling then. My emotions were literally ALL OVER THE PLACE! I was terrified. I was anxious. I was nervous. I was excited. I was ready. I was most definitely NOT ready. I was happy. I was sad. And I have never been more thankful! Severa...

Whose Shoes are These?: Maeve is 7!
http://of5.blogspot.com/2015/06/maeve-is-7.html
Some tidbits in the life of the Mr and Mrs, their kids, and the pooch. Sunday, May 17, 2015. She turned 7 this year with a stuffed animal party. I love my girl of many moods. I love her desire to be helpful in the home. I love her sensitive spirit. I love that we are finally seeing the tip of a tooth that will fill the spot that has been vacant for 2 years. Happy Birthday to my sweet little birdy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a believer. I am a wife. I am a mom. I am a sister. I am a daughter.
Whose Shoes are These?: Nolan's Graduation
http://of5.blogspot.com/2015/06/nolans-graduation.html
Some tidbits in the life of the Mr and Mrs, their kids, and the pooch. Thursday, June 04, 2015. The littlest little "graduated" from "The Farm". I didn't realize that it was going to be a big thing, but the teachers made it so cute for the kids. There was a potluck, and dancing (hoe-down style). It was the perfect ending to a pretty magical experience for Nolan. He's loved his time there. The fruit trees to eat from. The trees to climb. The rope swing to master. The leg breaker teeter-totter. I am a wife.

Team Smith: August 2012
http://thesmithteam.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2012. This summer we had some super fun times with our families at Lake LBJ. We are SOOOOOO blessed to have this special house to get together and so thankful for all that Mom and Dad do to keep it up and running for special weekends like these. On July 5th we joined everyone else (except the daddies because it was a Thursday) and Celebrated Honey's birthday! I had nothing to do with its cleverness so I can brag on it. :). Not hard to think of special memories with this one! Oh yes, ...

Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Well things have been rolling right along since school started. We've been busy but I didn't really think I had much to blog about until I started looking through pictures, so here is a random summary of our month so far. Spent some time with the three amigos :). I enjoyed the annual movie under the stars at the Family Center with these two happy campers. Got some one on one time with Brady Boy! Did I mention it was HHHHOOOOOOOTTTTTT. But day two was Wild Hat Day,. They insist...
Team Smith: November 2012
http://thesmithteam.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 4, 2012. Once upon a time. There were three little pigs and one big bad wolf. :). We brainstormed about a million ideas for our foursome and landed on this. Surprisingly the bigs weren't too opinionated about what they wanted to be this year and were all about a group costume. I tried to keep things homegrown and not spend much $ and you can tell! But, I thought they turned out pretty cute. Pitiful piggy turning on the waterworks. Can you feel the fun? Honey and GP tried to help. Althoug...

Tuesday, January 29, 2013. We usually send out New Years Card's, which is PERFECT when you tend to be a procrastinator like me. : ). These were taken in the lot beside our house. Here are a few out-takes and keepers mixed in. Oh how I love those tiny hineys. Crew and Wild Wyatt. The leader of the pack. Coyt: power to the people. I'm sorry who are those two kids? Looking way too old. Too fast. Stop it. Candy rewards of course. I can't seem to get the actual card to scan in correctly but you get the idea.

Monday, April 22, 2013. Wyatt's LEGOtastic Birthday Party. Wyatt loves Legos, he can sit in his room for hours building so a Lego party for his sixth birthday was a no brainer. There are about one million darling ideas out there for Lego parties so I really. Tried to reign it in and not go crazy! His invitation was from Etsy. Nice thing about Legos is that we decorated a lot with what we already had! Cookies from Mrs. Crumpler. You get the idea. :). Watch out for the Lego scorpion in the popcorn! Just fo...

Thursday, February 21, 2013. Daddy's real birthday was up next and so we planned a family super bowl get together to celebrate. Shelley and the kids were in town and Big, Nannie and Sarah all stopped in on Sunday on the way back from Austin. The whole family jumped on board so the week leading up to the big day was fun too with lots of packages arriving. I had just gotten my broken camera lens replaced, thank you Big and Nannie for that early birthday gift, so I was fired up to take some pictures. Mom an...

The Berger Family
Sunday, November 18, 2012. Ahhh blogging. It's been awhile! We've had a lot going on lately, and I just haven't gotten around to blogging about any of it. I just found a blog I started writing a few months ago that I never posted, about funny things the kids have said, so make sure to read that. But first. . . . in case you haven't heard, we are expecting twins! So, really it's because of Mark that we are having twins. I guess Heavenly Father (and I) knew we needed to have 4 kids. I'm trying to forget!
The Summers
Gates, Hope and Miracles. Sunday, November 4, 2012. My parents stayed with us for a week. We filled the week completely full with activities. We went out to eat a couple of times, visited some neat antique stores, walked the local parks, ate too many treats, played cards, stayed up far too late talking (did I mention that Mark and I are the old ones when we get together with my parents? We were ready for bed long before they were), and went to Peach Tree Farm. Clinics will continue through May of 2014...

Mark, Jenessa, Dyer, and Jack too! Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Dyer has done an awesome job of learning his letters and letter sounds at 18 months! At home we have a really great set of flash cards that I picked up at Barnes and Noble that have letters, shapes, colors, phonics, etc. all in one pack! Today we laid out all of the capital letters and did some practicing on recognizing them and their sounds. My plan is to totally steal my friend Mindy's idea. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Rowe and Ryder are the a...
The Johnson Five!!!!!
Tuesday, July 13, 2010. First posting in 4 months. Daddy and Alaina, 9 months. Monday, March 15, 2010. Just a little bit of bragging.forgive me! I am being forced to brag.I can't help it so bear with me. By 2 1/2 he knew letter sounds, could count to 20, had known his colors and shapes for some time.then the seizures. Throughout his acute illness, he still would rattle off all he knew even though he had trouble saying other things. About a trash truck. He has it memorized, as well as several other bo...

Waiting with Mark&Jenni | Our Adoption Journey and Everyday Life
September 2, 2016. We have now been a waiting family for 13 months. This isn’t how I envisioned this process. This is especially not how I envisioned welcoming September. See, we were matched for a second time on July 22, 2016. We went to doctor appointments. We heard the heart beat. We found out the gender and just like when we were matched before we even named our baby. You have to live in the moment because the moment is all you have. This means you prepare for this little person while also preparing ...
