It recurred about midnight for a couple hours of earplugging roaring thunder. What an experience for these northwesterners. Monday, September 5, 2011. 8/31/11 Day 26 continued. Lake Cascade State Park in Cascade, ID. The park has seven different campgrounds with a total of 210 different sites. We picked Sage Bluff because it was right on the lake and there was only one other camper! Just can't seem to get under that 4,000 mark! Mr Larson is taking a break from the wind and sun while I head to the sandy beach to kick back and watch the Osprey dive for fish. It must be 5:00 somewhere. Mark and Kathy came down to visit us over the weekend in December to celebrate Christmas early. We had a great time exploring the beach, dining out, visiting the Getty Center and spending some much needed time catching up. We were engaged in Napa Valley on October 18th during an incredible lunch at the French Laundry in Yountville. Kyle had done so much planning that it went off without a hitch. It was a perfect day. Weekend Trip to Point Reyes. The weather was beautiful this weekend so we took a motorcycle ride along the coast. Fish and chips in Stinson Beach and a beautiful ride through rural pasture out to Point Reyes. Enjoying our new location! On March 10th I lost my grandma Dorothy to cancer. She has had a tremendous influence in my life and I will miss her dearly. Her sense of humor was contagious and she was the most giving woman I know. She was a woman of faith and an example for all that knew her.

Here is a picture of our new apartment. It is located in the Marina district, close to the Presidio, Palace of Fine Arts, and Marina Green. We are looking forward to entertaining on the roof!
