Mark, Kelly and Ava. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Well, it's been a glamorous couple of days in the Russell household, let me tell ya. At one point Mark was getting pooped on and. Puked on at the same time. Early on in the making of this blog I vowed. To never go into the intricacies of our kid's bodily functions so I won't discuss the shade of green it was. nor which of the two I'm referring to right now. Better him than me. Notice the chapped red cheeks, it's a rash that's part of the virus. Sad huh.

Here she is at Chrissi and Adam's wedding all rosy-cheeked, chaff-nosed and all together lethargic. Hours that night, 4pm-9am. And woke up a new baby. Yay! And this is what I saw. Mark, Kelly and Ava. Monday, August 20, 2012. Well Lady Baby, we made it a year. Can you believe it? It's been a wild ride, quite the adventure. There's nothing in our lives that have gone unchanged by you joining our family and we're so thankful you did. Here's what you're up to at one year old:. You weigh 21 pounds and are 2 1/2 feet tall. You still wear size 3 diapers and 12 month, 12-18 month and some 18 month old clothes. Here you are in action. You've started saying more words! My answer is dog.

Friday, March 9, 2012. I joined in and ran and jumped in the sprinklers today with the kids. It was one of those fun moments of laughing and being silly that I wanted to cherish, but not ruin by running into the house to get the camera. Hence, no pics, just memories this time. Monday, May 2, 2011. Nannie Pie and Zwieback. I love when my mom comes to visit. She loves to spoil the grandkids, and I, of course, benefit as well! When she came most recently, she helped me rearrange so that Titus and Annaliese now share a room. Rearranging furniture is one of my mom's favorite pastimes, so it worked out well for all of us. Here are Annaliese's bed and dresser. And Titus' crib and changing table all together in their room now. The playroom and baby place in the lower left corner.

Friday, January 13, 2012. W had a great time with friends from our Young Marrieds fellowship group called Unite, when we were newly weds in SLO. Tahoe was beautiful - but NO SNOW! It was a little bit of a bummer, but I think the moms were all secretly ok with not having to deal with it ;). Here are the 8 kids at the cabin all 3 years old and younger. What a fun and lively bunch! From Tahoe, we went to San Jose to see Andy's family for Josh and Desiree's engagement party and pre-Christmas celebration.
